We take pride in offering different types of services within this category. The history of our company is literally based on the struggles of refugees finding interpretation and translation services within the Great Lakes countries during the 1994 Rwandan Genocide against the Tutsis and the 1996 war in the Democratic Republic of Congo that left millions of Congolese and Rwandese people scattered across the world. The pioneers of our company struggled to get these services during the processing of their refugee documents while crossing the borders of DR Congo-Uganda-Rwanda and Kenya.

Our major clients are non-governmental organizations across the globe, the healthcare industry, and embassies of different countries. However, we are not limited to these sectors as our clients and service providers come from all walks of life, and we welcome all clients including the LGBTQ community. Our service providers consist of unemployed, retired, and disabled PhD professors who have been affected by the endless wars in the Great Lakes region. We also have refugees from all over the world with PhD and master’s degrees who are struggling to find their footing in countries where they have been relocated for asylum, such as the United States, Canada, and other European countries. Many of these individuals work through a period of struggle before becoming well integrated into these countries.

A significant number of professors end up driving for Uber as their only option for a period of time to support their families while going through the process of integration in these countries. We offer translations for virtual and in-person webinars, conferences, and workshops at affordable rates. Notably, 25% of the income derived from these services goes towards buying wheelchairs and hearing aids for Alzheimer’s, dementia, and deaf patients, who are often neglected members of the Pygmies’ people in the Democratic Republic of Congo in Bunia.

Currently, we work with a variety of languages including English, French, Swahili, Lingala, Luganda, Kinyarwanda, Kirundi, Arabic, Portuguese, Kikuyu, among other languages. Our commitment to providing these services is rooted in our company’s history and the challenges faced by refugees and disadvantaged individuals across the Great Lakes region and beyond.
